Why so cheap? - Bass trombonist René Laanen (67) has announced his retirement.
He has suffered from Gout for years and has recently been suffering from Rheumatism, this makes it difficult for him to hold and play the basstrombone. In 2017 he was diagnosed Glaucoma at both eyes which has made it even more difficult for him to play. His musical career has spanned five decades in the music industry.

Marcus Bonna Case for Bass Trombone - € 577,- new
The handmade Marcus Bonna bass trombone case consists of a fiberglass shell with a durable replaceable nylon cover. The case is a standard length with an extremely compact, contoured design. This is one of the most protective cases on the market and is use by many of the world's top professionals. As a bass trombone case, it is the most compact design we've seen, fully three inches narrower at the bell flare than anything else. Outwardly, with its 11-inch/28cm wide bell flare, it could pass for a tenorcase. It might even fit in an overhead compartment on some larger aircraft, no small feat for a bass trombone case. The interior is well appointed and fits everything, from a single rotor to a dual thayer horn.
